I'm trying to simulate a dress using a dforce cloth simulation presets and it said I need to add a dForce Modifier. What is that and how does it work?

Basically it adds new properties to the surface you use it on, so that the dForce engine can now see it as something it can simulate.

You can learn more about the basic principles of dforce and how to use them in this thread: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/203081/dforce-start-here#latest

Wow, subtle switches in nomenclature here. D-For. mer and D-For. ce Modifier .

Thanks for the info, FP. I looked at the first link you gave and, wow, did i get a headache. I looked at the second and it's much better. I can follow that one better. Still a lot to learn and I'm going to wait until next year (month) to start learning. Thanks again.
